Sleet Street Long Jacket is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 61.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket, no quality issues so far After ordering and returning 3 other long, black, parka style jackets from other retailers I decided to splurge on this jacket. So far I absolutely love it. It is incredibly warm and windproof (I've worn it in up to -20 Celsius and been toasty warm). Also breathes well in warmer weather closer to 0 degrees. I've had the jacket just over 2 weeks now and haven't had any issues with the zipper, pilling, or shedding of feathers. I'm 5'7 , 145lbs, 34C and I purchased a size 6 which is my usual size in lulu pants and tops. Overall, I hope this coat continues to perform because I haven't found anything else that compares in terms of performance and style (without spending way more $$$$$).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy this coat if you have curves of any kind I've got a smaller waist, compared to my hips, and this looks terrible when zipped up. If you look at the pictures on the model, you will see that the zipper dips in right around or just below the crotch area, it is terrible! The dip in the zipper, also shows a lack of filling in that panel of the puffer, so on top of having a dip in front of your crotch, there is a flat panel puff there, so it accentuates the dip in the zipper, all the attention is drawn right to that area, you cannot look anywhere else. I tried it on top of a black outfit, and the feathers were everywhere! Nope not for me, sent it back. The cloudscape is far more superior and doesn't make a curvier girl look bigger in all the wrong places, and those curves usually look great in Lulu gear.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful Quality - Not worth your money Wore this once and there's already a hole in the pocket and feathers shedding. The zipper is also challenging almost every time I zip the coat up. After the amount of bad reviews this jacket has received I'm not sure why they are still selling this product. It will be a long time before I trust the quality at this store again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Warm, stylish, but pilling like crazy!!! :-( I have been a lulu fan for many years and almost filled my complete closet with lulu items! This jacket is very warm and stylish, and I just have to buy it even though I don’t really have a lot of chances to wear it living at PNW. Shockingly, this time I am sooooo disappointed to see the jacket pilling like crazy after wearing for just a couple of times! No compliments can make up the terrible quality of the jacket - What happened to lulu’s QC lately? I expected a lot more wear from a jacket costs over $250 even at WMTM price, it’s ridiculously expensive to spend the money for just two wears! :’( So think twice before you invest in it! I still like the style, but style alone is not enough to justify the price tag! I hope I will never have to worry about the quality of lulu again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Don't size up! I bought this coat in store. I'm a standard Lululemon size 8, both top and bottom, but occasionally go up/down a size as their sizing has been sort of all over for the last few years. When I tried on the size 8 in store, it felt a little too snug - it was down-filled and fluffy, and the bulk that that created made it feel a bit snug. I sized up to the 10, which seemed to fit perfectly. But now, after about 1-2 weeks of wearing it, the entire coat seems to have flattened (I think that the down has lost it "fluff" as it has been worn), and it now hangs much more loosely on me. I am 5'9" with very long arms, and the arms now extend well past my wrist, to mid-thumb or so, and it's loose all throughout the torso. I have no idea if the size 8 would have done the same thing (presumably?), or how it would have then fit (would it then be my size? would it still feel snug?), so I don't think I'm going to bother trying to exchange it, but I wanted to give the heads-up to anyone still considering it. I will say that it's a gorgeous coat, and has a very flattering cut. I imagine if you bought it online and it came in compressed packaging, as is often the case, then this wouldn't be an issue. I have to confess that after dropping $400 on a winter coat that I expected to be my go-to everyday for years (and after driving over an hour each way to make sure I could try it on in a store), I'm a little disappointed at how it has changed shaped in the first few weeks compared to how it wore right off the rack. I would also note that it's definitely not designed for low temps. The description says "lightweight warmth", but I feel like that could be easy to overlook since it looks like a serious winter piece. It's been great for the 25-40 Fahrenheit that I've seen this winter, but it's not very heavy (and as mentioned, has flattened even further with initial wear). I think you'd be pretty chilly in a single digit wind chill, which unfortunately for many of us in the northern parts of the US and Canada, is a pretty common condition. Something like the Snow Warrior Parka would be better for that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best winter coat I live in Colorado and LOVE this jacket. It’s long, warm, and most importantly flexible. I love that I can move free in this jacket with 0 stiffness or bulk. It’s awesome for walking the dogs, hanging in the snow, and much more. The water resistance is also top notch.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Loved then not I bought this coat at full price a few months ago when it first became available and had no regrets at all until the last few weeks. I love the fit- very flattering as well as the light pink colour. Knowing it’s machine washable was the clincher so I purchased it. It’s been great in terms of warmth and water resistance (I live in Vancouver and we’ve had some very cold days this winter.) Unfortunately, the double zipper is giving me major grief now and it takes me 5-10 minutes to get it done up so I usually just give up. Pretty sad as I was absolutely loving this coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from California Girls Best Winter Friend I absolutely Love this jacket. I am a California girl living in Park City, Utah. This jacket is a giant down blanket that I do everything in. It's flattering and fitted at the waist. The pockets have fabric inside to make them warm and soft. I wear it to watch kids soccer, walk the dog, run errands and to and from the gym. The hood is designed so you don't have to wear a hat and still be warm and dry. I love everything about it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Really wanted to love this! I really wanted to love this. It’s incredibly warm, I love the snug fit, the waterproof exterior, double zipper and numerous pockets. But, I’m finding that in spite of its warmth and amazing features, I’m constantly covered in feathers, and it just keeps getting worse. I’ve started walking around with a lint brush, and opting to wear this coat when I wear light coloured and grey clothes so the feathers don’t stand out as much - which is just so unpractical. Unfortunately, this is a huge flaw, and I think I’m going to have to shelf this coat because I’m tired of choosing my clothing, based on the flaws of this coat...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love For those of you ordering online and unsure of sizing.. Let me start off by saying I was OBSESSED with this jacket from the first time I saw a photo, but the nearest store is over 2 hours away for me, and they didn't have my size range in stock for me to try on even if I could get there. So I diligently read EVERY review I could find and the overwhelming majority seemed to think sizing up was the way to go. For reference I am generally a 6 - in leggings and the "definitely raining" jacket and most tops. Winter parkas I've tried i have always had to size down to a 4. So from that I thought ordering a 6 would be the smart choice. I would never size up to an 8, but maybe a 4 would be too small. Oh the agony and anxiety over this decision!! I ordered the 6 and it was too big. DEVASTATED to say the least. Room for sweaters yada yada, but when I pay this much for a jacket I'm not just looking for warmth, I want it to be super flattering on my figure too! This looked ridiculous. So today I made the trek to the the location closest to me - by some miracle they had restocked and had the 4 and OMG I LOVE IT. LOVE IT. The only reason I can think not to give it the 5th star is the material looks a bit thin and crinkly at the front at the abdomen - not because it's tight there in this size, the 6 was the same.. But that's me over analyzing and finding it hard to believe this might actually be a 5 star, because when does that EVER happen?! Length is so amazing, being a tall girl (5'11 and about 135 lbs) I never get the option of wearing something that is actually long on me.. And it is very light and comfortable but SUPER WARM. Get it. Don't size up!
