Winter Warrior 3-in-1 Parka is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from 100% warmth but technical failures I purchased this jacket in preparation for a New York winter and I want to say that I was very pleased at hot warm it kept me. I also love the idea that it is 3 in 1 jackets, and I have already worn it attached, and detached and it's just awesome to have options that way. I really appreciate that the shell is waterproof and that came in handy in a downpour! The inside puffer did not get wet and neither did I. HOWEVER, I must say that the buttons that attach the puffer to the shell, the buttons on the outside flap and the zipper were major fails for me, with the zipper being the worst for me. The buttons that attach the puffer to the shell kept on popping out when I was taking off/putting on my coat and was slightly annoying. The buttons of the outside flap protecting the zipper I didn't even bother with because they were so hard to snap together especially with gloves. BUT THE ZIPPER!!! I was standing in the cold so many times trying to get that zipper to zip and got extremely frustrated. At the rate that I've had to zip and unzip my jacket, I feel like that area at the bottom of the zipper will not last me for a long time as I'm always pulling and tugging and trying to make the zippers come together so I can zip it up. And it's definitely impossible to do with gloves on. Honestly, the jacket is and still is great however, the zipper REALLY needs to change.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No regrets I am beyond pleased with this coat! I purchased the regular winter warrior parka last winter in black and ended up liking it so much that I almost went back for the red as well. When the 3-in-1 version came out this season and I saw that it was offered in red I was super tempted to get it, but held off because of the hefty price (though no more than CG, etc.) and not being able to justify it when I already have a large selection of winter coats. However, when I came across this for an unimaginably great deal on the bay I could not pass it up. If I had the luxury of choosing the size I would’ve opted for an 8 for more layer room, but it was a 6 so that’s what I got (which is what I bought the regular winter warrior parka last season in anyway). I am 5’6.5, curvy/athletic/muscular build and wear a 4/6 in LLL bottoms, 6 in most tops/bras, 6/8 in jackets. I can comfortably wear up to a sweatshirt/sweater in this (wore a scuba plush hoodie yesterday), but I tried to wear my short sweet and Sherpa jacket underneath and it was def too tight. So, as long as you’re not looking to be super extra with your layers you can stay TTS, but if you’re looking to really pack it on I would go up a size. For comparison, to wear the same number of layers an 8 fits me best in the brave the cold jacket, but I can get away with a 6 in the cloudscape. However, this jacket is very warm (it was hovering around and below 20F yesterday and I was nice and toasty), so unless you’re dealing with near subzero temps I see no real need to do that. All in all, even though this is one of the most expensive jackets offered by lulu it is no more expensive than other comparable options. The 3-in-1 capability is really the icing on the cake and is what makes this a good buy even at full price IMO. I have not experienced any of the snap button issues, and can take the coat on and off with ease without anything detaching. The black down layer poking out at the sleeves doesn’t bother me (and I got the red, so if you were to get the black it’d be hardly noticeable at all). I actually think they did a great job with the buttons because (for me) they stay snapped and are also a breeze to put together (not finicky in the least). My only complaint is that the zipper is a little hard to get started sometimes, but I found that to be the case with my regular winter warrior parka as well. However, I have not had any problems with it unzipping at the bottom while sitting (and I don’t have a small butt/legs). If you’re in the market for a warm, high quality, stylish, versatile and practical winter coat definitely give this one a shot!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from If it sounds too good to be true it probably is I was excited about this purchase because I needed both a raincoat and a parka. I felt the price was a splurge but the 3:1 idea sold me! The jacket is warm and dry, it also looks nice. The snaps and closures don’t stay closed, allowing the puffer to separate from the shell and making the coat sloppy plus the zipper is extremely difficult to close, and splits from the bottom when you sit or move around too much. The outer rain layer is bulky without the puffer and the sleeves are long making it unlikely that I will wear the shell alone. I would have been better off purchasing both a rain coat and a parka.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hello warmth! I had a hard time to choose which parka was made for me. So I decided to give a try to this one! First of all, I already felt the warmth of this multi layered coat without any heaviness. Then I tried the first layer to go shopping during a zero degree rainy day and loved it! Zero regrets and cannot wait to try it during -30 days! For me I had to size down - as I won’t put anything under it except casual clothes! -

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Meh This coat is so expensive so you’d think the buttons and zipper would be excellent! WEEELLLL wrong. Zipper doesn’t go all the way down so when you sit the bottoms do not hold. Buttons are so cheaply made. The inner coat is attached to the outer shell of the coat with the cheap buttons so they constant pop. The outer shell of the coats raises up so the inner coat pops out the bottom of the coat. The coat is extremely puffy especially the neck/hood part. All in all, this coat is very warm and looks great on.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Conflicted. It was finally time to replace my 10 year old winter jacket . So, I went searching (winter has just hit here in Canada). I tried on blarcteryx, platagonia, dorth lace, etc. I even tried on an exact replacement to the jacket I previously owned (made by a company whose name rhymes with mobis). BUT, I wanted a style change and in my eyes, Lululemon can do no wrong. Also, the signs over the jacket said this was the warmest jacket they make. But, here's the thing, I can feel that this jacket is $300 less warm than my old jacket. It's not even a the dead of winter yet and already, I can feel the cold breeze coming through the jacket. Additionally, the 3-in-1 seemed like a good idea but now I'm not so sure. Every time I try to put the jacket on...snap snap snap the buttons come undone and the 2 jackets separate. I even sized up. I'm a 4 in tights and a comfy 6 in everything from Lulu. I bought this jacket in an 8 just to make sure I could wear it over a sweater but it still comes apart when I try to put it on. ALL THAT SAID, it's a very nice looking jacket and if you're really just looking for something to wear as a commuter coat. It's probably not a bad choice. However, if you need to wear this to take your dog out through the dead of winter, I would get something more technical. A few other little things.. the zipper is a bit small and tricky to get done up when your hands are freezing. The zipper also doesn't run all the way to the bottom and when you sit, the little bottom snaps unsnap easily. When it comes to technical outwear, we cannot yet have our cake and eat it too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Two coats in one The Winter Warrior 3-in-1 Parka is very expensive, however it is two coats in one, giving three options. The outside waterproof shell undoes from the inner down coat so it can be a rain shell, a down jacket, or a down coat with the outer rainproof coat. I plan on traveling to Iceland where the weather is cold and even in the summer it drizzles. It is heavy but no more so than my Canadian winter coats. I like that it has shoulder straps to hang on your back instead of carrying it if it gets warm. Instead of having to pack an extra coat, I can carry this one on the plane and have extra room in my luggage. Worth the money if you live or plan to visit a very cold area. Although it is quite thick in layers, it is still not an unflattering style like some coats that make me look like a shapeless form.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun coat I actually bought the wrong coat, I wanted the coat that didn’t walk and talk! But I’ve already worn it 2 of the 3 ways that you can.. The beginning of the week I just wore the red shell, yesterday the black puffy coat and probably tomorrow the entire ensemble. The only slightly annoying element is that when you just wear the red outer jacket the sleeves are a little long but the actual sleeve length is needed when the black puffy coat is snapped under. Connecting the 2 coats is easy as well. If I had to do it again I might have just bought the 1 coat which is less money but that’s the way it goes.
