Rated 2 out of 5 by from Save your money I’ve been longing for the perfect dog walking coat to beat the bitter cold in the Midwest. I slipped this on in the store along with trying on several other coats; this one felt like a dream. Length was a huge component to protect me from the elements. While the initial try on was a-okay, it easily fails the field test. Pros: -Super clean design -Warmth and insulation -Waterproof, perfect for any elements -Long length, to keep you covered head to toe -Scuba hood to protect your lungs when fully zipped -Zipper pockets Cons: -The center front zipper is such a disappointment, to buy a coat at this price and have a cheap main body zipper is a huge flaw. Not only is it tough to get started (a two-way zip without a locking slider) when you do get it zipped and begin moving it unzips from the other end. -The main zipper stops right above the knee, which is great for getting in the car. There are snaps for the remainder of the length, and they’re a joke. I think the design team must have though the snaps were innovative, super lightweight, flat plastic snaps on a taping. Snap them, and they’ll come undone! The vented side seams can be snapped with a flat metal snap, they’re a little more reliable. -When you walk any distance in this coat, snaps undone, bottom zipper slider coming open the entire coat torques on body. -This coat looses feathers on the daily, I usually have coworkers plucking me throughout the day. This coat may be flat by the end of the season. -The bottom hem shape is a bit irregular, maybe the flare was planned for extra room...? I honestly let this coat hang in the closet most of the time and go for my tried and true coats while bundling up, rather than fuss with this one. Don’t waste the money. if you’re going big, consider buying from a more reputable outerwear brand.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from narrow, but warm coat this coat was more than I needed. it was long, which I thought I'd like, but it made it difficult to move/walk. it was also very narrow. i'm a small framed person and it felt tight. it just felt like not the right combination of features, especially for how expensive it was.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love! Super comfy, warm jacket. Purchased it when on sale as I didn’t necessarily need a new long coat so hard to justify full price. It’s super comfortable, has a soft-sweater like interior, and is very long and warm. Zipper has been slightly inconvenient as opposed to a deal breaker for me (zips but might take a few tries). Not as much of an issue as it seems to have been for others - I may have gotten lucky. Would recommend if needed or if on sale. Although it’s somewhat roomy, I did size up so I could comfortably wear sweaters underneath.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Stylish but not well designed I recently bought this jacket for the fit and style. The Olive Green color is perfect. However after having it for only a couple of days, I've already noticed the feathers coming off (which concerns me that for the price this jacket will only last one season). Also as others have mentioned, the zipper is a nightmare! If not aligned (and even if aligned) it take forever to zip up and if you just resort to using buttons only those snap open as soon as you walk. Unfortunately for the price I expected the quality of the design to be's too bad because the fit and color are perfect.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Style but the quality could be better I bought a jacket at the early November, I take long time to find the nice style for the Canada’s winter. Finally I bought this parka, many people ask me where to buy it, they like it too. However, that did a quality issue for the 「feather 」, every time after I take off the jacket there are some feather fly away~ but I can’t do anything to fix it ~~~I love my jacket~ But I am afraid of next year when I wear it which will not be warm as this year .

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great jacket that could/should be better PROS: - length (perfect, I'm 5'4" and it goes mid-calf) - fit (roomy but you don't look like a box) - POCKETS (LOVE POCKETS) - warmth (main reason for buying) - smart snap mechanism (cool way to fasten snaps but...see below) CONS: - feathers (have only had it for few weeks) - snaps that don't stay closed (what's the point) - thumb holes (thought you guys put these on everything :P) - hood (should be adjustable, whose head is that big) OVERALL: - don't regret buying it but for the price the cons should have been addressed on the design floor

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Coat that Won"t Zip Up I had been looking for a warm, comfortable parka for a long time. When I saw this coat in the store, I tried it on and was so impressed by the feel of the coat and how light weight it was. Although it was a lot of money, I later ordered it online and couldn"t wait for it to arrive. Unfortunately, the zipper is defective. If I can get the zipper done up, it takes me between 5-8 tries. The double zipper has to be perfectly lined up or it won't work. Sometimes if I'm in a rush, I have to abandone wearing my coat, and choose a different one, to get out of the house on time. If I just do up the snaps, which are really small for the size of such a substantial coat, the cold still comes through. If the zipper worked, I would love the quality and feel of this coat. I am so disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Design Shortfalls I bought this parka as a gift for my wife and I’m disappointed that this Lululemon product falls short of expectation. My wife absolutely loves Lululemon gear but once I received this packaged (online order), I immediately gave it to her before Christmas to make sure it fits. The fit and material of the coat is good but it did not pass as a good coat for her. The deal breaker was the flimsy front buttons and the difficult zipper. On occasion on days that are not so cold, she prefers to not zip up and just button up her coat but the front buttons on this coat are cheap plastic snaps which easily unbuttons without it being zipped. They should have at least used the same more reliable buttons on the bottom sides of the coat for the front. The zipper is a problem as it should not be so difficult to engage the zipper. Lululemon decided to use a small engaging zipper which is very difficult to mate. For my wife, fiddling with zippers and having no reliable Front buttons is the dissapointment which will result with me wasting time to return this coat which I was trying to avoid with a reliably sourced online purchase. It’s possible to change the zipper and add reliable buttons, but the effort to do this defeats the reason of buying a Lululemon.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Form but no function This is a gorgeous coat but I wish it was designed properly for colder Canadian cities and not just Vancouver weather. I tried it on few weeks ago when it was -10ish, it was fine but: 1- after first wear and I found little white feathers on my black shirt. 2- I wanted to love this coat but it had to pass a weather test it in colder temps. Today was -20C in Toronto so I wore it and walked outside for about 8-10min. I didn’t find it that warm at all and my knees were freezing. I was wearing pants but not a base layer. I bought this jacket for its length and because I didn’t want to wear long Johns or multiple layers on my legs. 3- I also didn’t bring gloves because I wanted to test the pockets. I love the size/shape and design of the pockets but they don’t have the proper insulation you need for a winter coat, hence my hands were also frozen. Unfortunately this coat failed the weather test and I am deeply disappointed. 4- The zipper is also troublesome but it has nothing to do with poor quality of the zipper, it’s poor design for a long coat. I suggest that lulu designers test these things before it’s sold in stores/online. Don’t test them in the summer, go test them in Alaska or Yellowknife and design for that weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm + Functional As someone who lives in a place where its winter more than its not, a warm parka is a must. This has checked all my boxes for what I look for in a parka, and the fact that its waterproof while being down filled was what got me over other brands. I love the longer length and the warmth it gives without bulk or weight. Unlike other reviews, I didn't have an issue with the zipper and for my lifestyle, rarely use all the snaps. I did size up to be able to accomodate the chunkier layers I tend to wear in the winter.
