Might have to get 15 of themIt’s one of the most lightweight shirts I’ve ever put on. It feels just as good over dry skin as it does when I’m sweating. And I couldn’t smell myself, so I think it passed the test.

MVT 2.0It was really light, really comfortable, and actually felt kind of cool. My skin felt dry and the shirt still felt pretty loose and breathable.

MVT 2.0I really put it through the ringer, and it held up well —no bagging, no chafing, no hot spots. I never really felt the shirt, which I think is the goal.

improved fabricI bought one of the Metal Vent Tech short sleeves in the original fabric and found it to be too slick and clingy when it got damp. The Metal Vent Tech 2.0 has a texture that keeps it from clinging and also feels lighter. This fabric is a big improvement. Since it is winter, I have mostly been using it for yoga and had to size down to get the right fit (i.e. to avoid a mouthful of fabric in downward dog).

Disappointed in the 2.0I had decided to purchase a couple MVT 2.0 since I’ve had my 1.0s for a long time and they were getting old, so I figured it was time for a upgrade. I must say I am fairly disappointed in the 2.0s. The material I noticed is thinner than the 1.0, the fit is significantly tighter compared to the older model keeping in mind I bought the same size as my 1.0 because it fit me well. I’ve bought numerous MVT 1.0 in the past and always wear them to the gym, I wore one of my two 2.0s (one still has the tag on it) to the gym and as of right now, the MVT went from being the only shirt I wear to the gym to becoming the last resort after using the 2.0.

Stretching ShirtsAlways been a big fan of lululemon shirts, but the collars on the shirts I recently purchased stretched out like crazy after 5/6 washes. Its gotten so bad that I can no longer wear them. I'm used to great quality from Lulu but these shirts are no longer worth it. Very disappointed. Seems like stretching shirts is a ongoing problem, and the design team is failing to fix it.

Seriously StretchedI bought the 2.0 in the same size as my 1.0 and after 2 washes and air drying I am noticing the collar and overall structure of the shirt is seriously stretched compared to my 1.0 which has had many more washes. The Large fits me like an XL now and it just looks baggy and ill fitting. Overall I am not happy with the performance of this shirt compared to any of my other Lululemon items.

Why, Lulu, Why???I can’t say enough about the original metal vent tech shirt… I have about 6 of them, and they’re all still holding up after 5+ years. A couple of my originals are starting to stink under the armpits, so I wanted to replace an old blue one I had. I bought this new 2.0 in a blue color, and what can I say… It absolutely sucks! The fit is completely different (MUCH TIGHTER!!… frankly it made me look and feel fat even though I am not!) Also, the color is much darker than it appears online. And the material is a lot thinner. I am extremely disappointed with lulu’s quality in a few of their products lately. Mostly with the fit.
