Where to begin... I’ll start with the fact that the well packaged balm was shipped in an unnecessarily large box?! Very wasteful. Like another reviewer I was surprised how small the balm was. Is the product itself was fabulous I could overlook the size but sadly, that was not the case. The balm goes on nicely but feels sticky and thick within minutes. It would be okay to wear at night but while you’re awake it drives me nuts. The other problem is the smell/taste. It’s hard to describe but it’s a little funky - along the lines of a sunscreen or lotion. I wouldn’t recommend this product. If I was able to smell it beforehand I would not have purchased. I was excited to try other products in the self care line - now I’m not willing to risk it.

I just received the lip balm in the mail and I am extremely disappointed on the size. It looks like a sample size and it’s only half full of product. Usually I’m one hundred percent happy with all my lulu purchases, but sadly not this one.

Amazing
I purchased one to see how it was because I heard mixed things about it. BEST purchase ever! I have them EVERYWHERE! I think I have a total of 5 that I have in different places around that I go to all the tine! My car, skate bag, bathroom, bedroom. And I have a extra or two witch is FINE! Who knows how long it will be there for!

Great Product -- Iffy Packaging
As a lipbalm, this is fantastic. Neutral smell, long-wearing, and hydrating. Almost immediately, however, the coating on the packaging started bubbling and peeling off. Doesn't bother me, but the only reason it gets 4 and not 5 stars.

Withstands the Heat and Talking
Basic Balm is my go to for keeping my lips moisturized! I teach yoga, heated and non heated classes and this lip balm keeps my lips from drying out. I am constantly talking, working up a sweat, and although after an hour or so, the lip balm may wear off, there is no weird taste or fragrance, and my lips stay moisturized without feeling sticky. I wouldn't expect a lip balm to last all day. This one passes the getting through a sweaty workout test with minimal re-application.

Best Lip Balm
Amazing scent. No gross taste. Very gentle texture. Subtle glossiness to it. Great for sensitive lips. Overall this lip balm has become my absolute favorite. It's worth every cent!!
