Loop It Up Mat Strap is rated out of 5 by 68.
Rated 2 out of 5 by YogiRiderMD from Still looking for straps I've been using bags for years, and I wanted to try straps. I bought this in the store, thinking that it could be used as a mat carrier. I only found out that it was meant for roll-ups, when I searched for how to use them, online. I did find a way to sling my mat over my shoulder, but it doesn't hold out for long commutes to the studio. It's not tight enough, which makes it impossible to carry mats vertically, and it lets your mat loose when set down. Aside from using it as a strap during yoga practice, they're okay for short commutes. Otherwise, I'm sticking to my bag. I'd suggest that a photo be attached to the packaging to make the strap's use (for roll-ups) clear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dlovesherdoggie from Simple easy to use No complications with this strap. You literally make a loop and insert one end and make a loop on the other end and insert. Holds my 3mm mat well but know it will hold any other mat as it is adjustable. Also comfortable to hold on my shoulder.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Sarahyoga from Frustrating product I saw the mixed reviews online and still decided to buy this product, thinking 'How hard can it be really to use those straps?' Turns out it is. Somehow, I can never manage to close the loops at the same spot on the mat (I think it's because my mat is sticky - I have the 5mm reversible mat) and the straps always get all tangled up, which makes it super hard to transport. I takes me like 5 min after each yoga practice to manage to strap my mat and it is getting more and more frustrating with time. I should have bought the yoga bag in the first place.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MaLou from Do not buy this, it's worthless. I wasn't sure buying this because it seemed not safe enough, but the seller convinced me that it would be and I should have trust my instincts. It's impossible to go anywhere with that. My mat kept falling, the loops would always loosen up even if i tried to re-tight it. Even for a small travel from my car to the entrance of the studio, it's just horrible, I'm so sad I bought this and that I can't return it. To be honest, usually when I read bad reviews I tend to look past them because I was satisfied with everything else I bought at Lululemon, but I wish I trusted the bad review I saw here before buying it and skip on that item. Only buy this if you have a gift card that expires soon and you already have everything else in store, but honestly, I would just give away the gift card to a friend if I were in that situation.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Mayapisiw from It does it's job but... It works! Thats a bonus but it left imprints in my mat that will not go away. Kind of a bummer! I'll just stick to my bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AnnaD from Perfect for long commutes I don't drive so I walk to my studio, it's about a 2km walk. This is super easy to carry my mat and makes the commute more comfortable. Strongly recommend this for anyone who walks to their studio. I haven't used it as a stretching strap yet because my studio provides them but I might try it at home. Must have. Oh and you can wear it either on your shoulder normally or cross it over which makes it more comfortable. I've had no issues with the mat slipping out even when my mat is almost fully perpendicular to the ground. The only time it loosens is when I set it down, which is not an issue for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CasualYogi9 from Works Perfectly Was unsure before purchasing on how well the loop would hold my yoga mat in place. I was pleasantly surprised. I have a large mat and it fits/stays in place just fine. Appears pretty durable as well, would recommend to anyone looking for a convenient way to carry their mat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by lovelylemonn from Very handy to have I bought a mat (the 5mm) and this strap at the same time. While I have used other mat bags (made from netting) the mat would always stick to it and it would be hard to get in and out. The strap is very easy to use and it stows away in my cubby perfectly when I am at the studio. It helps keep my hands free and keeps my mat from unraveling when propped up against something. I love my new mat and this strap makes me love it more. I also bought the mat towel and matching face towel. They work great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Marvelthepug from Love it! I was put back by all of the negative reviews at first, but decided to give it a try anyways. I am so glad I did! This strap makes carrying my yoga mat very comfortable. I live in an area where I have to drive everywhere, so I haven't really walked farther than from my car to the studio. It definitely works perfect for my needs. I also love how it doubles as a yoga strap, unlike a bag would.

Rated 5 out of 5 by desperatetexan from Good so far At first I was put off by the other reviews from people who have had issues with their mats falling out of the loops. I gave in at the store and I can see how the mat can fall out of the loops if the loops are too close to the ends of the mat. I've been placing the loops close together in the center and I haven't had any issues! I also have the 3mm mat, so I can't speak for anything thicker or thinner!
