City To Summit Cycling Short is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Almost! I wear a size 6 In lululemon tights with a 28”waist, 38” hips and the med was the right tight fit I like in a cycling short. Great compression in the legs and even the grips at the end of the short were smooth. And I loved the pockets on the side!!! I was looking for this exact feature for quick access to snacks during longer races, But I agree with other reviews that side the waist was lacking staying up power, even though my waist is way smaller than my hips I didn't feel like the waist would stay put and I wish it held same compression as the legs did. Not perfect so I returned sadly. (I tried the bibs too -they had a much better waist situation but the side pockets Were A little smaller Weirdly. I would have kept the bibs except for racing they weren’t practical for speedy bathroom breaks With the shoulder straps :( Bummed because it is so hard to find womens shorts with side pockets!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good cushion In theory this would be the best bike shorts I own. I love the silicone grip, pockets, cushion, and reflective dots but I can’t get over how terrible the waist band is. Put them on and waist rolled down, got on bike waist rolled down. I had to bunch up the whole waist under my hips and belly. I wish they were sold in store because I can’t help but wonder if maybe I just got the wrong size? I’m and 8 in all my pants so I assumed a medium would be perfect (and it fits perfect standing up) but that waistband ruins it for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these cycling shorts! I am so happy with these shorts, I might order another pair. I don't seem to have any "roll-down" issues with the waist, the way some have mentioned. The padding (for me) is perfect and really makes me NOT hate being in the saddle. I ride a tri bike, so the saddle is very firm. And the pockets?! also perfect. I'll wear these on my long rides, during tri training. Not to mention, the inseam length is not too long - which is something I always have a issue with, because my legs are incredibly short. I'm 5', 107lbs. I got a size S. I could have gotten away with a XS and might order another pair in that size.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cycling shorts These shorts are made of lighter material than most bike shorts and they are a dream to wear. I also loved the pockets especially the front credit-card type pocket which is easily accessible and unusual in most bike shorts. My only problem was that the XL was not very XL so they are definitely a little smaller than I'd like.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice, but pricey for the quality. Nice fit overall. I like the seamless waistline, but would not be surprised if they rolled down if you don't have an absence of fat in the abdominal area. The chamois is nice and padded and comfortable. I don't think they are worth what I paid for them. Would rather spend it on cycle brand bike shorts!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very comfortable bike shorts sits lower on the waist than other bike shorts, they might roll if you have any kind of a belly.. Legs are very comfortable and stretch even for larger thighs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Run Small Was crazy excited when I saw pockets, I’ve been looking all over for cycling shorts with pockets! Shorts are really cute unfortunately, I can’t give feedback on how they feel/work/wear as a cycling short because I couldn’t get them all the way on! I wear an 8 in all Lulu leggings and ordered a Large in the cycling short (wear a large in Pearl Izumi and all other cycling brands I own). could not get them all the way on. Went ahead and kept them because my daughter needs a pair.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not worth the $$$ Wore these for a 50 mile ride: PROS -quick drying, moisture wicking -lightweight fabric -pockets CONS -waistband was not fitted and cuts down in the front -relaxed after wearing -padding was worthless in the glute/crotch area -way to expensive for overall performance of the short I love Lulu but did not love this short!
