Grippy but stains
I overall think this mat is fair. It is grippy enough for a sweaty vinyasa yoga class, but unfortunately if you have any type of oil on your skin it stains the mat and cleaning it does not remove it. Additionally, I got the light purple color, which is beautiful but shows all of the sweat during class so would consider darker color.

Stained Eaisily
After receiving for Christmas I used it at hot yoga every Sunday for a few months. It is already stained and looking ROUGH. I didn't expect this after such light usage. I keep it very clean and it looks very dirty.

Grippy yet stain easily, great customer service
I have only used the smooth side for hot yoga and it is light weight and super grippy even without a towel. It does tend to get just a tiny bit slippery if I'm dripping sweat and don't bother wipe down the mat during class at all. Someone told me that the 5mm doesn't have the issue, so if someone is a sweat monster like I am :P
The biggest (potential) con is the mat might stain easily/quickly. I originally got the midnight blue version, which was so beautiful. Unfortunately, it got a huge stain after a wash with water and baking soda, which was weird because my sweat didn't stain the mat. Lululemon has great customer service and I was able to go to my local store to swap it out. Hopefully it was just the mat I got was defective and I'd recommend people get the mat in darker colors just in case. The store educator also suggested that I only use soap in the future so I will try that too.

Love it!! Best mat ever!
I’m obsessed with this yoga mat! I does not move when you’re in the middle of your flow and it’s super comfortable and not to mention beautiful!!! I love how my mat stands out with the pink berry color I got. Such a great find!

Perfect Hot Yoga Mat
Absolutely love this mat! I have had it for a couple months now and it’s perfect for hot yoga. I never have any problems with slipping. However, I would definitely not recommend getting the black mat! I wish I would had bought another color or was able to exchange for a different color. :( The black constantly smears and the marks won’t come off and it seems as if there is small scratch marks from being on hard wood floor. The mat looks like it’s older then a couple months :(

Reversible mat
Not happy! Mat has smudges after every move on it. Looks old after day of exercise.
I washed it with warm water and smudges stayed.

Great mat
This mat is lightweight and easy to carry to and from yoga class. It has great grip for all yoga poses so I don’t feel like I’m going to slip and fall!

Not wonderful
I really loved the color pink of this mat and was very excited to use! Didn’t have a single problem with it during my practice until I noticed that an oil stain from my face wouldn’t go away. I scrubbed and cleaned and NOTHING gets it out, and now the mat just looks bad... Since this was my first mat from Lululemon I’m just very disappointed after only having heard amazing things about their mats. Not sure if I’d buy another if this happens to all of their mats.

Stains
I just want to start this by saying I am typically obsessed with LuLu. I was so excited to get this yoga mat. I ordered the teal color and it came in the mail yesterday. It had a little blue stain on it when I opened it. I used it this morning for a quick FIFTEEN minute flow and it already has stains on it!! Can’t imagine how it will look after more use. I’ve got to say I am disappointed for the first time in a LuLu product.
